SM Natural Blow® cream is the perfect blend between our aquas cream formulation and food state nutrients under strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
Note while each nutrient listed on the product label are within the formulation, it is not necessarily an exhaustive analysis of all trace vitamins, minerals, amino acids, essential fatty acids, phytonutrients, and co-factors within the proprietary blend of food state nutrient.
All the individual nutrients listed on the spec sheet have a measurable concentration of between 1.2 mcg and 980 mcg per 22 grams of cream.
While all nutrients within the formulation are at minimum certified as food grade, and no chemical in the cream would be regarded as harmful if swallowed < 22g, this cream is intended for external use.

Because we use natural nutrients in our creams, we continue to use the most effective tried and tested compound to protect our customers and cream from unwanted bacteria.
Parabens are highly effective anti-bacterial compounds that are found naturally in fruits and vegetables. These compounds have been used in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and food industries for decades with an impeccable safety record.
In the last five years parabens have come under renewed scrutiny when a study was published on the internet, claiming that certain types of parabens may be harmful. The study was found to be inconclusive and concentrations of 600,000 times higher than the current EU safety standard was used on fish for the study.
The fact is that parabens are used as an anti-bacterial compound and it should be obvious that very high concentrations could be harmful for both bacteria, fish, and humans.
Unfortunately all this hype cast the mere word “paraben” in a false light with the public. This led to many cosmetic companies abandoning parabens for ineffective and potentially harmful alternatives. We have noticed that some manufacturers replaced the word “paraben” on the product label with some sort of “Ester salt”.
Large government studies on parabens over the last few years all agree that the problem is not with parabens but potentially with high concentrations of parabens that may be found in some cosmetics; these companies are using parabens as a texture (slippery) compound and not just as an anti-bacterial compound. We agree that such products should be avoided.
However, based on the most recent scientific findings these compounds, within the maximum safety thresholds, remain safe for the public as highly effective anti-bacterial compounds
Regardless, our customers can rest assured that our paraben concentrations are already 570% below the current EU safety standards, and we only use them, as found in nature, to protect our natural nutrients and customers.
The EU threshold for parabens in cosmetic products such as creams is 8 g of parabens / 1 Kg SM Natural Blow® formulates with 1.4 g of parabens / 1 Kg (1 g Methyl and 0.4 g Probyl)
